Kangaroo Experience with granola feeding

PLEASE READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE BOOKING:  * Please note that the Saturday and Sunday granola feedings with the kangaroos have now been moved into the full zoo experiences. Please let us know if you have any questions.  Spend 30 minutes face to face learning and interacting with Red Kangaroos. This experience includes: feeding the kangaroos treats (granola), time to take individual photos, learn about the kangaroos and marsupials from our "Zoo Crew", and learning about the missions of Zoo Chateau. The interaction will be 30 minutes and the time will start as soon as the liability waivers are signed and we have entered the kangaroo enclosure.  Please note that this interaction is not the best environment for children under 3 years old. If parents would like to have their children that are under 3 participate, please ensure that there is an adequate number of adults to trade off holding or watching the kids as the kangaroos can react to crying and sudden movements. This is to make sure that you and our other guests get the most out of the interaction with our animals. All children will need a ticket reguardless of age due to limited ticket availability and limited space in the barn.  Guests should be comfortable around all types of animals. As a disclaimer: cats live on the property and occasionally dogs will also be present on the property. The itinerary for the Kangaroo experience will include: - Safety orientation on how to interact with the kangaroos (including signing release of liability) - If the roos are inside, two guests at a time will get the opportunity to go into the enclosure to feed the kangaroos and take photos as well as pet the roos. If they are outside, the group will go out into the enclosure and get the chance to individually feed and interact with and take photos with the roos.-The Zoo Crew Representative will give information about Bindi and Rooney, and kangaroos in general, and guests may ask any questions that they have- Meanwhile, the rest of the group will be watching and will be able to take photos from the viewing area (or within the enclosure) while they await their turn, or after the conclusion of their turn DISCLAIMER: Here at Zoo Chateau, our first priority is our animal and guest safety. If for some reason we feel that it is not in the best interest of the kangaroos or the guests, we reserve the right to cancel. Spring is here and we are ready! Paint your own flower pot, garden gnome, bird bath or plant markers! We will have a variety of glaze, stamps, stencils and supplies for you to use. When finished, the pottery is taken to be glazed and fired. It is then dropped off at 8000 Uptown in one week for pick up. This include interactions with Zayn the Zonkey and Chewey the Poitou Donkey, as well as horses, (baby) giant tortoises and rabbits. This encounter will include a chance to learn about the individual animals from our “Zoo Crew”, interact and pet the animals as well as feed some of them treats! As a guest, you will have the opportunity to take individual photos while feeding the horses their apples, carrots or other treats, and the rabbits and tortoises love their fruits and vegetables. This interaction will be a total of 45 minutes inclding signing liabity waivers/release of liability.  Please note that this interaction is not the best environment for children under three years old. If parents would like to have their children that are under 3 participate, please ensure that there is an adequate number of adults to trade off holding or watching the kids as the animals can react to crying and sudden movements. This is to make sure that you and our other guests get the most out of the interaction with our animals. PLEASE READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE BOOKING: Spend approximately 1 hour  with all of the different types of animals that we have here at Zoo Chateau. This includes interactions with two red kangaroos (Bindi and Rooney), Zayn the Zonkey and Chewey the Poitou Donkey, as well as horses, (baby) giant tortoises and rabbits. This encounter will include a chance to learn about the individual animals from our “Zoo Crew”, interact and pet the animals as well as feed some of them treats! As a guest, you will have the opportunity to take individual photos while feeding the kangaroos granola, horses their apples, carrots or other treats, and the rabbits and tortoises love their fruits and vegetables. This interaction will be a total of 90 minutes with the first fifteen minutes dedicated to signing liability wavers and a safety orientation.   Please note that this interaction is not the best environment for children under three years old. If parents would like to have their children that are under 3 participate, please ensure that there is an adequate number of adults to trade off holding or watching the kids as the animals can react to crying and sudden movements. This is to make sure that you and our other guests get the most out of the interaction with our animals. Children of all ages will be charged a full ticket price due to the extremely limited space available.    The itinerary for the Full Animal Experience interaction will include: -       Safety orientation on how to interact with the animals (this includes the signing of liability waver) -       Depending on the day, the order of animal interaction is subject to change, however, guests will have the ability to interact, pet, feed and take photos with each of the animals unless deemed unfit for a particular animal to not particpate in guest interactions on that day  -       The Zoo Crew Representative will give information about the animals in general, and guests may ask any questions that they have -       Meanwhile, the rest of the group will be watching and will be able to take photos from the viewing area (or within the enclosure) while they await their turn, or after the conclusion of their turn -       Guests will be asked to exit the property at the conclusion of their time with the animals in order to allow the   Zoo Crew to continue to provide care and training to our animals, or for another group to start their experience    DISCLAIMERS: Here at Zoo Chateau, our first priority is our animal and guest safety. If for some reason we feel that it is not in the best interest of the animals or the guests, we reserve the right to cancel. Since this is a legal document, ID may be required to be presented. This will be strictly enforced.   Can someone come observe and not participate for no charge? No. Due to the limited amount of space and our intimate experience with our animals, unfortunately we cannot allow for people to just observe.
